Tomás Saraceno's First Major Swiss Solo Show at Museum Haus Konstruktiv
Tomás Saraceno will present his first major solo exhibition in Switzerland at the Museum Haus Konstruktiv in Zurich, running from June 1 to September 3, 2017. The show will feature works from his long-term Aerocene project, comprising floating sculptures powered solely by natural thermal currents. Also on view will be pieces involving spiders and their webs: the Argentine artist keeps around 300 spiders of twelve species in his studio, encouraging them to interbreed and produce hypermodern webs. The exhibition explores models of human coexistence with ecological, social, and aesthetic dimensions, blending art, architecture, and science.
