Tom Morello and Beartooth Create 'Everything Burns' for Final Fantasy XIV

Tom Morello, the guitarist for Rage Against the Machine, has unveiled a new track titled 'Everything Burns' in collaboration with the metalcore band Beartooth, now available on streaming services. In an interview with Artribune, Morello, Beartooth's lead vocalist Caleb Shomo, and sound director Masayoshi Soken shared insights about the project. The partnership originated a year ago when Jason Charles Miller informed Morello of Soken's respect for Rage. Soken had long envisioned integrating Morello's guitar into the game. The song accompanies new challenges in the Arcadion combat arena and symbolizes a pivotal historical moment. Since its launch by Square Enix in 2013, Final Fantasy XIV has attracted approximately one million active players and has featured music integral to its identity since 1987.
