TOdays Festival 2016 Expands to Galleria Gagliardi e Domke for TO_lab

The TOdays Festival, a rock-electro-alternative music festival in Turin now in its second year, is expanding its daytime programming to include Galleria Gagliardi e Domke in the Barriera di Milano district. The festival runs from August 26 to 28, 2016, and aims to become the next Sonar+D or Club To Club, which previously partnered with Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo. The TO_lab section, dedicated to education and innovation, will host workshops, talks, and live events at the gallery. Highlights include a workshop by Game Design Week in collaboration with IED Torino to create a video game inspired by John Carpenter's filmography, who will also perform as a musician at the former Fabbrica Incet. Other events include the Ableton Link Jam with jazz trombonist Gianluca Petrella as DJ and producer Ezra, an interactive sound installation 'Materia' by AudioHacklab, and a Mad Max Fury Road exhibition of 60 works by 50 artists. Performances at Museo Ettore Fico feature Uwe Schmidt (Atomtm) and Robin Fox in 'Double Vision', while Elio Germano and Teho Teardo present 'Viaggio al termine della notte' at Parco Aurelio Pecci.
