German photographer Tobias Zielony (b. 1973, Wuppertal) presents his fifth collaboration with Galleria Lia Rumma in Milan with the multimedia project 'Maskirovka.' The exhibition occupies two floors: the lower levels feature a video and photographs from 2016–2017 exploring masking and unmasking, referencing military and political strategies as well as LGBTQI party rituals in repressive climates. The top floor displays 'Haus der Jugend' and 'Alles (Chemnitz),' a double slideshow of archival images from 1998–2005 portraying youth, friendship, and desire.
