Tobia Faverio's 'Cumuli' at Ten Thousand Feet in Milan

On March 6, 2025, Ten Thousand Feet, a graphic design studio and exhibition space in Milan, opened a show featuring 21 photographs by Tobia Faverio (Milan, 1994) titled 'Cumuli' (heaps). The series, created between 2021 and 2024, explores the paradox of heaps as ordered yet unstable forms. The exhibition includes a limited-edition portfolio box designed by graphic designer Filippo Antonioli, with 10 signed copies containing posters and A0 prints. Ten Thousand Feet, founded by Paola Bombelli and Lorenzo Boero, develops branding and visual identity systems alongside a program of events for young artists. Previous exhibitions include 'Marchin Ants' by Michele Galluzzo, a collaboration with Compulsive Archive on 'Punk Planet Magazine,' and 'Most Beautiful Swiss Books.' Boero and Bombelli recently created the visual communication system for 'Il nostro Tempo' presented by Fondation Cartier at Triennale Milano, and the Torre Velasca exhibition at MAXXI. They also coordinated the visual identity for independent spaces Viola Spettri, Spazio Mini, Ceriani Szostak, and Blu. Faverio's work uses photography to explore territory and solitude, connecting fashion aesthetics with rural life.
