Tiroche DeLeon Collection to Sell Works at Art Stage Singapore
For the 2018 edition of Art Stage Singapore, scheduled from January 26 to 28 at Marina Bay Sands, a collaboration has been established between the Tiroche DeLeon Collection and the fair. This partnership will showcase a 200-square-meter exhibit that highlights contemporary Asian art acquired from 2011 to 2016. The goal is to venture into new market areas and provide collectors with alternative avenues for buying and selling, moving beyond conventional auctions. Founded in 2011 by Serge Tiroche and Russ DeLeon, the collection emphasizes both established and emerging artists, museum loans, exhibitions, and an art rental program for young collectors. Lorenzo Rudolf, who initiated Art Stage Singapore in 2010, previously met Tiroche in 2011 at the Singapore Art Museum, where Tiroche introduced Rodel Tapaya's work. Rudolf subsequently became a member of the collection's Advisory Board. Featured artists include Genevieve Chua, Jigger Cruz, and many others.
