Time & Style, a Japanese furniture brand founded by Ryutaro Yoshida, blends traditional Japanese craftsmanship with international design influences. Yoshida's journey began in the 1980s when he lived in Berlin as part of a cultural exchange, later founding Prestige and returning to Japan in 1992. In 1997, he opened the first Time & Style showroom in Yakumo, Tokyo, inspired by European room settings. The brand collaborates with architects like Peter Zumthor, using traditional steam-bending techniques for furniture at the Therme Vals, and with Kengo Kuma. Time & Style has expanded with showrooms in Amsterdam and Milan, and a partnership with Boffi De Padova. The brand focuses on wood, experimenting with material combinations while preserving artisanal techniques.
