Timber Pedestrian Bridge in Shanghai's Yitaiyipin Garden
In Shanghai's Pudong New Area, a timber pedestrian bridge has been finalized, crafted by GREEN ARCHITECTS in collaboration with gad. This bridge, which is part of Yitaiyipin Garden, boasts a semi-circular design elevated to the second floor, linking sloped gardens at either end. Spanning 230 m², the project was completed in 2025. Han Shuang oversaw the curation, while the design was further developed by GREEN ARCHITECTS' Zhu Weiwei, He Ru, and Gao Linlin. The client behind this initiative is Shanghai Yiliu Property Development Co., Ltd. Photography for the project was done by Cao Liang.
