Tiffany Shlain's 'Dendrofemonology' National Tour Kicks Off in Seneca Falls

Tiffany Shlain, who is an artist, filmmaker, and writer, will be launching her national tour for the sculpture called Dendrofemonology: A Feminist History Tree Ring on May 8, 2026. The tour will start in Seneca Falls, New York, which is famous for being the starting point of the American women’s rights movement, during the Right to Run event. This follows her notable exhibition, Ancient Wisdom for a Future Ecology: Trees, Time, and Technology, which first showed at Getty's PST ART Art & Science Collide and later at the di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art in San Francisco from January 22 to April 11, 2026. The Dendrofemonology sculpture, which debuted on the National Mall in 2023, will travel to key sites nationwide in 2026, during a crucial midterm election year.
