Tiffany & Co. Opens Rome Boutique with Female Photographers Show

Tiffany & Co. celebrates the opening of its new boutique on Via Condotti in Rome with the exhibition 'Female views on the history of a great Country,' curated by Denis Curti. The show features works by Diane Arbus, Margaret Bourke-White, Linda McCartney, Dorothea Lange, Annie Leibovitz, and Vivian Maier, among others. According to the Corriere della Sera, the exhibition highlights how American women photographers chronicled their nation's history, particularly the Second Industrial Revolution. Meanwhile, the Fotografia Europea festival runs until July 10 in Reggio Emilia, with events in venues like the San Pietro cloisters and Museo Spallanzani. In Florence, Palazzo Medici-Riccardi hosts a display of letters from Michelangelo to Vasari, drawn from the private Festari collection, which was previously threatened with sale to a Russian magnate but secured by the Italian culture ministry.
