Three Must-See Films This Week: Stanlio & Ollio, The Sisters Brothers, and Normal

This week's cinematic offerings include two films starring John C. Reilly: 'Stanlio & Ollio' and 'The Sisters Brothers'. In 'Stanlio & Ollio', Reilly plays Oliver Hardy opposite Steve Coogan's Stan Laurel, directed by Jon S. Baird. The film follows Laurel and Hardy on a 1953 UK theatre tour as they struggle with dwindling audiences but eventually regain their charm. Set in 1851, it follows two assassin brothers in the Pacific Northwest grappling with their violent lives and humanity. It had its national premiere at the Rome Film Festival. The third film, 'Normal', is Adele Tulli's debut documentary, which premiered at the Berlinale in February. It explores gender dynamics and social constructs in contemporary Italy through fixed-camera observations. Tulli is the daughter of Serena Dandini. 'Stanlio & Ollio' is released by Lucky Red on May 1, 'The Sisters Brothers' by Universal Pictures, and 'Normal' by Istituto Luce Cinecittà.
