Three prominent museums in Mexico are currently featuring exhibitions centered on modern and contemporary design. The Museo Franz Mayer will showcase "Biodiseño Mx. Territorios vivos" from May 28 to October 11, 2026, curated by Taina Campos, which includes 74 pieces that delve into biodesign across five categories: "Flora," "Fauna," "Microbia," "Funga," and "Bioinspiración." Meanwhile, the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Monterrey (MARCO) presents "Charles & Ray Eames. La inusual belleza de las cosas comunes" from June 5, 2026, to February 7, 2027, curated by Brenda Fernández, highlighting the Eameses' work through eight themes. Lastly, the Museo Universitario Arte Contemporáneo (MUAC) will host "La historia de cómo sentarse. Variaciones del asiento en México" from August 1 to October 11, 2026, curated by Ana Elena Mallet, featuring over 40 seating designs from the 20th and 21st centuries.
