Three Major Tate Exhibitions: Goncharova, Takis, and Bowling

In the summer of 2019, London’s Tate Modern and Tate Britain are featuring three significant solo exhibitions. The Tate Modern presents 'Natalia Goncharova' (running until 8 September 2019), marking the first UK retrospective of the Russian modernist and showcasing approximately 160 pieces, including paintings, fashion, and interior design. Curated by Natalia Sidlina, Matthew Gale, and Katy Wan, this exhibition will later move to Palazzo Strozzi in Florence in September 2019 and to Ateneum Art Museum in Helsinki in February 2020. Additionally, 'Takis' (open until 27 October 2019) highlights over 70 sculptures by the late Greek artist, organized in collaboration with Museu d'Art Contemporani de Barcelona. Meanwhile, Tate Britain features 'Frank Bowling' (until 26 August 2019), the first major retrospective of the Guyana-born artist, curated by Elena Crippa and Laura Castagnini.
