Three Imperial Chinese Treasures on View at Dresden's Residenzschloss
An exhibition titled "In Focus: Three Rare Treasures of Imperial China" is set to take place at the Sponsel Room within Dresden’s Residenzschloss from April 1 to June 29, 2026. Showcasing three remarkable artifacts from various imperial dynasties, the exhibit will feature the Ru Bowl, a Dragon Vase, and a miniature snuff bottle measuring just five centimeters. The event highlights pieces from the Grünes Gewölbe and the Porzellansammlung, the latter recently gaining significant media spotlight for its extensive collection, which is the largest of its kind for early modern Chinese and Japanese porcelain outside Asia.
