Three Galleries Launch Shared Space Bubble'n'Squeak in Brussels

A new exhibition space named Bubble'n'Squeak will debut in Brussels on March 11, 2021, located near the Wiels museum. This 350-square-meter venue is a joint effort of three galleries: Anna Marra Arte Contemporanea (Rome), Montoro12 (Rome–Brussels), and Gallery Nosco (UK–France). The opening group exhibition, titled 'Hétérotopie,' is curated by Edoardo Monti, founder of Palazzo Monti in Brescia, and features works from ten international artists, including Clarissa Baldassarri and Aron Demetz. The theme is inspired by Foucault's idea of heterotopia. In April, solo exhibitions will spotlight African artists: Admire Kamudzengerere (Anna Marra), Chris Soal (Montoro12), and Isabel D. (Gallery Nosco). A Romanian art showcase, 'Electric Crossroad,' will be curated by Radu Oreian in June. The program will continue in September during Brussels Gallery Weekend with an international curator's exhibition. Gallerist Anna Marra emphasizes the initiative's goal to enhance the connection between collectors and art while providing a diverse cultural experience through multiple galleries in one space.
