Three Artists Shortlisted for BMW Art Journey from Art Basel Hong Kong

Ali Kazim, Zac Langdon-Pole, and Gala Porras-Kim have been shortlisted for the BMW Art Journey. Selected from the Discoveries sector at Art Basel Hong Kong, each artist will propose a personal journey for research and new work creation. The winner, to be announced in early summer 2018, will collaborate on documenting the journey for public sharing via publications and digital platforms. A jury including Richard Armstrong, Claire Hsu, Bose Krishnamachari, Matthias Mühling, and Pauline J. Yao made the selection. Art Basel and BMW jointly announced the shortlist, offering the winner a global travel opportunity.
