Three apps for viewing, playing, and collecting art in VR and NFT spaces
Three applications offer new ways to experience art through virtual reality and NFTs. Alexandria – Port of Worlds is a VR platform that aggregates selections from the Cannes Film Festival and NewImages Festival, allowing users to view VR films at home as if present at the festivals. It was created by Kre.is and supports HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. Brain Vomit Garden is a multiplayer game developed by the artists behind the Brain Vomit NFT collection on OpenSea. Built on Unreal Engine 5, it features a stylized virtual garden where players can share artistic creations, solve puzzles, and attend performances. NFT Museum is a low-cost tool for creating custom virtual galleries, compatible with OpenSea and Rarible, and allows importing files from a computer. It lacks multiplayer interactivity. The article was published on Artribune Magazine #68.
