Three American Films Release on February 21: The Front Runner, Can You Ever Forgive Me?, The Lego Movie 2

Three highly anticipated American films are releasing in Italian cinemas on February 21, 2019: The Front Runner, Can You Ever Forgive Me? (original Italian title Copia originale), and The Lego Movie 2. The first two premiered at the Torino Film Festival to positive reception from audiences and critics. The Front Runner, directed by Jason Reitman and starring Hugh Jackman as Senator Gary Hart, follows the Democratic senator's presidential campaign derailed by a scandal involving a model, highlighting invasive media coverage. Can You Ever Forgive Me?, directed by Marielle Heller and starring Melissa McCarthy and Richard E. Grant, is set in 1991 New York and tells the true story of Lee Israel, a struggling writer who forges letters from deceased authors after being fired. The Lego Movie 2, an animated sequel featuring voices by Chris Pratt, Alison Brie, and others, follows the heroes of Bricksburg as they battle LEGO DUPLO invaders from outer space. The screenplay is by Phil Lord & Chris Miller.
