Thomas Hirschhorn e Anna Dezeuze discutono 'Deleuze Monument' alla Central Saint Martins
Il Platform Theatre della Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London, ha ospitato il lancio di Thomas Hirschhorn: Deleuze Monument sabato 18 ottobre 2014, dalle 17:00 alle 18:30. L'evento ha visto un dialogo tra l'artista svizzero Thomas Hirschhorn e Anna Dezeuze, docente di storia e teoria dell'arte all'École Supérieure d'Art et de Design Marseille-Méditerranée. Hanno esplorato il libro e la metodologia di Hirschhorn per creare e sostenere opere pubbliche, menzionando i suoi monumenti precedenti: Gramsci Monument (2013), Bataille Monument (2002) e Spinoza Monument (1999). Hirschhorn, con base a Parigi, ha recentemente esposto opere in 'Höhere Gewalt' al Schinkel Pavillon di Berlino, 'Flamme Eternelle' al Palais de Tokyo di Parigi e 'METAMATIC Reloaded' al Museum Tinguely di Basilea (tutti nel 2014). L'ingresso era gratuito, ma era necessaria la prenotazione; l'evento è stato sostenuto dal Sandra Blow Fund.
