Thom Yorke and Mark Pritchard announce collaborative album Tall Tales with Jonathan Zawada visuals

Thom Yorke and Mark Pritchard will release their debut collaborative album Tall Tales on May 9, 2025, via Warp Records. The 12-track album originated in 2020 during lockdown when Yorke asked Pritchard for tracks to work on together. Multimedia artist Jonathan Zawada created the graphic concept, a short film, and two music videos for the singles Back in the Game and This Conversation is Missing your Voice. The Back in the Game video uses Blender software and features surreal characters resembling a James Ensor painting, marching toward a museum where paintings are thrown into a bonfire. The second video follows parcels on conveyor belts, with some bearing calcographic prints depicting futuristic landscapes. Yorke and Pritchard previously collaborated on Beautiful People from Pritchard's 2016 album Under the Sun.
