Third artwork vandalized at Skulptur Projekte Münster 2017

Koki Tanaka's installation at Skulptur Projekte Münster 2017 was damaged by thieves who broke into a local university building on Johannisstrasse during the night of 31 July, stealing equipment from the piece. The Japanese artist announced the incident via email. A spokesperson for the decennial exhibition stated that a night guard would contradict the concept, adding that similar incidents occurred in previous editions.
