Thibaut de Ruyter's Central Asian Journey Documented in artpress

Thibaut de Ruyter traveled to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan with support from the Goethe Institut. His journey coincided with the exhibition 'la Vie est une légende' at the Musée d'Art moderne et contemporain de Strasbourg, which featured artists from Kazakhstan. The exhibition ran from December 6, 2014, to March 8, 2015. De Ruyter's account of his Central Asian travels was published in the February 2015 issue of artpress magazine, specifically in issue number 419 on pages 90-93. The article, titled 'Asie centrale voyage en uchronie,' documents his experiences in these two Central Asian countries. The Goethe Institut provided a grant that facilitated this research trip. Strasbourg's museum showcased contemporary Kazakh artistic production during this period. The publication offers insights into the cultural landscapes of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan through de Ruyter's perspective.
