Thermos has announced a recall of 8.2 million food jars and bottles due to stoppers being violently ejected when opened, resulting in injuries to 27 individuals. Among these, three consumers have experienced permanent vision impairment. This recall impacts multiple models of food jars and bottles distributed in the United States and Canada. The company is advising customers to cease using these products right away and to reach out to Thermos for a complimentary replacement stopper.
