Theodora and Hamza Lead Nominations for Fourth Edition of Les Flammes Rap Awards

Theodora and Hamza are frontrunners for the fourth edition of Les Flammes, the rap and popular culture awards ceremony, set for April 23, 2026. Theodora, a 22-year-old Franco-Congolese singer and composer, has seven nominations, including one for her duo with Disiz. Her track "Melodrama," released in September 2025, broke the streaming longevity record in France, surpassing Pharrell Williams's "Happy." She recently adopted the alias "Miss Kitoko" after winning four Victoires de la Musique in February 2026. Hamza, a Belgian rapper and singer, also has seven nominations, with his trap hit "KYKY2BONDY" featuring references from Mbappé to Céline Dion. Other nominees include Jul, Ninho, Gims, Guy2Bezbar, and the trio L2B, while Aya Nakamura, Maureen, Meryl, and Ronisia are contenders in the female artist category. Over 810,000 votes, a record according to organizers, combined with jury and professional panels, determined the nominations across 19 categories. The ceremony will be broadcast live from La Seine Musicale in Boulogne-Billancourt, France, online and on France 4.
