Theo Mercier, Florian and Michaël Quistrebert, Julien Previeux, Evariste Richer Nominated for 2014 Marcel Duchamp Prize
Gilles Fuchs, who leads the Association for the International Diffusion of French Art (ADIAF), revealed the nominees for the 2014 Marcel Duchamp Prize. The artists in the running are Theo Mercier, Florian and Michaël Quistrebert, Julien Previeux, and Evariste Richer. An international panel will select the winner, to be announced on 25th October 2014 at the Grand Palais in Paris. The recipient will earn €35,000 and an additional €30,000 to fund new artwork, which will be displayed at the Centre Pompidou in 2015. Established in 2000 by ADIAF and the Centre Pompidou, this award aims to promote the French art scene. Also, Latifa Echakhch, the 2013 winner, will unveil her exhibition at the Centre Pompidou on 8th October 2014.
