The World of Tim Burton Opens at London's Design Museum

The Design Museum in London is hosting "The World of Tim Burton," a major exhibition exploring the filmmaker's grotesque and surreal universe. Curated by Maria McLintock and running until April 21, the show features over 600 archival objects, many never exhibited before, spanning Burton's career from his 1982 short "Vincent" to his latest film "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice." Highlights include Michelle Pfeiffer's tight costume from "Batman Returns" (1992) and Christina Ricci's striped dress from "Sleepy Hollow" (1999), alongside preparatory drawings and notebooks. Unlike previous immersive exhibitions—such as "Labyrinth" at Paris's Espace Chapiteaux and Milan's Fabbrica del Vapore, or the retrospective at Turin's Museo Nazionale del Cinema—this London presentation focuses on physical memorabilia rather than digital immersion.
