The Woodward in Geneva Joins Auberge Resorts Collection

The Woodward, a historic Belle Époque establishment from 1901 located on Lake Geneva, has shifted from the Oetker Collection to the Auberge Resorts Collection. Designed by François Durel, it reopened in 2021 after serving as a bank office for many years and now features 26 residential suites. Interior designer Pierre-Yves Rochon has transformed the space into apartment-style accommodations adorned with custom marquetry, Baccarat crystal, marble fireplaces, and handmade azure wallpapers. The Royal Suite boasts a 10-seat dining area, four balconies overlooking the French Alps, and a private elevator. A former bank vault now serves as a cigar lounge, retaining its vintage 'No Smoking' sign and heavy door. Culinary experiences are managed by The Bastion Collection and Executive Chef Olivier Jean, with L'Atelier Robuchon earning two Michelin stars and Le Jardinier, a glass-walled restaurant focused on vegetables, holding one star. The Guerlain Spa, covering 1,200 square meters over two underground levels, features the longest private indoor pool in Geneva at 21 meters, alongside a Nordic thermal circuit with saunas, hammams, Swedish baths, a snow shower, and six treatment rooms designed by Swiss cabinetmaker Gruyeria with mother-of-pearl accents.
