The Webster Miami: Fashion Retail Empire Blends Luxury with Art Collaborations

The Webster, founded by Laure Hériard-Dubreuil in 2007 on Collins Avenue in Miami Beach, has grown into a multi-brand luxury retail empire with five US boutiques and e-commerce. The brand's pink flamingo logo inspired exclusive products from over twenty labels including Courrèges, Thom Browne, and Coach. Hériard-Dubreuil, a French entrepreneur from the Rémy Martin cognac family, studied international economics and Mandarin in Shanghai before merchandising training at FIT New York. She previously worked at Balenciaga and Yves Saint Laurent. The Webster occupies a building by Art Deco architect Henry Hohauser, stocking European brands like Céline, Balmain, Pierre Hardy, and Azzedine Alaïa. Hériard-Dubreuil has been instrumental in positioning Art Basel Miami Beach as a nexus for art, fashion, and design, fostering collaborations with young designers. Fendi celebrated ten years with Design Miami/ through Chiara Andreatti's bio-industrial installation. Gucci unveiled Coco Capitain's art wall reading "I Want to Go Back to Believing A Story." Fondazione Prada presented The Prada Double Club Miami with Carsten Höller. The Webster's retail space hosts emerging talents like Marco De Vincenzo, who created an eight-piece capsule with artist Agostino Iacurci, and Sies Marjan, whose designer Sander Lak collaborated with writer-artist Walter Robinson on cotton sheets featuring runway model portraits.
