The Vinyl Factory and 180 Studios Present 'Reverb' Multimedia Exhibition Featuring Over 100 Artists
London's The Vinyl Factory has partnered with 180 Studios to launch The Vinyl Factory: Reverb, a major multimedia exhibition exploring audio-visual intersections. Running until 28 September, this expansive show brings together more than 100 artists and musicians working across visual media, music, film, and live performance. The exhibition includes specially commissioned, site-specific installations from Theaster Gates, Es Devlin, Julianknxx, and Caterina Barbieri. UK premieres feature new projects by Cecilia Bengolea, Kahlil Joseph, Stan Dougla, and the late Virgil Abloh. One immersive space, Hi-Fi Listening Room Dream No.1 by New York artist Devon Turnbull, offers a curated vinyl collection with exclusive test pressings and studio outtakes. Theaster Gates' installation Amplified functions as a sonic experience by day and transforms into a live performance venue at night. The exhibition also displays 100 vinyl records created by artists including Nan Goldin, Marina Abramovic, Es Devlin, and Kojey Radical. For two decades, The Vinyl Factory has pioneered collaborations between artists and musicians. This exhibition represents their largest showcase dedicated to merging art and sound.
