The St. Regis Rome partners with Galleria Continua for rotating art exhibitions

exhibition · 2026-05-04

The St. Regis Rome, a luxury hotel managed since September by Giuseppe De Martino, has announced a partnership with Galleria Continua, a contemporary art gallery with locations in San Gimignano, Beijing, Les Moulins, and Havana. The collaboration will feature semi-annual contemporary art exhibitions. The inaugural exhibition showcases works by Milanese artist Loris Cecchini (born 1969), known for permanent site-specific installations such as the one in the courtyard of Palazzo Strozzi in Florence. Cecchini's Blaublobbing series, composed of bubble-like forms, protrudes from the hotel's facade. Cloudless pieces hang like clouds from the lounge ceiling. Modular works from the Waterbones (Stochastic Choral Symphony) series greet guests in the Ritz Ballroom, while three Wallwave vibrations pieces adorn the Sala Borromeo. Galleria Continua will also organize a calendar of meetings with curators, collectors, and artists, engaging with the public and hotel guests. The exhibition runs until March 3, 2019.
