The Pool NYC in Milan Stages Exhibition on Ugo Foscolo

The Pool NYC gallery in Milan presents 'Love is in the air', an exhibition exploring the relationship between poet Ugo Foscolo and Antonietta Fagnani Arese through contemporary artworks. The project was conceived by Luigi Franchin, Alberto Levi, and Viola Romoli, curated by Roberto Mastroianni based on a design by Studio Patricia Boher. The exhibition recreates a timeless, modern domestic environment that narrates the couple's daily life and emotional symbiosis. Artists including Vedovamazzei, Aldo Mondino, Gaetano Pesce, and Carlo Prada contribute works that reinterpret the historical figures' personalities and harmony in a contemporary key. The show aims to demonstrate that feelings and perceptions remain constant while aesthetic habits evolve. Each corner of the gallery reflects different facets of the two protagonists, offering a lighthearted yet profound reading of a past love. The exhibition opened in 2021.
