The Phair Returns to Turin for Second Edition in May 2021

festival-fair · 2026-04-27

The Phair, a photography fair founded by Roberto Casiraghi and Paola Rampini, will hold its second edition from May 27 to 30, 2021, at Padiglione 3 of Torino Esposizioni, a building designed by Pier Luigi Nervi in the early 1950s. The fair is dedicated to photography and image-based art, open to contemporary art galleries not necessarily specialized in photography, with 50 selected exhibitors each occupying equal space across 4,000 square meters. The 2021 edition emphasizes Italian galleries working both domestically and abroad, as well as foreign galleries operating in Italy. The Phair debuted in 2019 under the direction of Lorenzo Bruni, with plans for a concurrent photography festival in 2020 that were canceled due to the pandemic. This year, The Phair will coincide with the third edition of Fo.To – Fotografi a Torino, a city-wide photography event, creating a week-long celebration of image culture across museums, galleries, foundations, and public spaces in Turin.
