The Phair 2026: Photography, Visual Arts, and Experimentation in Turin
The seventh installment of THE PHAIR | Photo Art Fair took place at OGR Torino's Sala Fucine from May 22 to 24, 2026, fostering a dialogue among photography, visual arts, and modern experimentation. A diverse curatorial committee comprised of Umberto Benappi, Emilio Bordoli, Lorenzo Bruni, Ernesto Esposito, Brandei Estes, Benjamin & Steffi Jaeger, Massimo Prelz Oltramonti, Valerio Tazzetti, and Carla Testore oversaw the event. Featuring 42 galleries, including Albumen Gallery from London and Jaeger Art from Berlin, the fair prominently showcased environmental themes, with artists tackling climate change. A highlight was Costanza Gastaldi's first exhibition in Italy after 15 years in Paris, where she presented "In the Mood for Love," which examined eight shades of black, emphasizing photography's evolving significance in the contemporary art scene.
