The Others Fair in Turin Opens with Expanded Layout and 67 Galleries
The Others 2023, established by Roberto Casiraghi and Paola Rampini, commenced in Turin on November 2 and will continue until November 5. This year's fair showcases a generous arrangement of 67 galleries, which includes non-profit and artist-led spaces, depicted as planets featuring 70 exhibitions. At the entrance, visitors encounter Attraverso, an installation by Letizia Scarpello, crafted from iron rods that mimic offensive tools designed to collect industrial waste. The event highlights ties to local culture and traditions, with participation from Sicilian gallery Young Volcano, Peruvian Bloc Art, and eight Slovak galleries. Notably, live performances and the InterstellArt Cup foosball tournament are new additions this year. The Arena, curated by Elisabetta Roncati, takes the place of the web TV, encouraging dialogues about contemporary art.
