Located between Bruton and Castle Cary, the 800-acre estate includes a Grade II-listed farmhouse with 43 rooms, formal gardens by Patrice Taravella, and a spa in a converted cowshed. The spa offers Roman bathhouse-inspired thermal circuits, farm-to-treatment-table experiences using herbs from a medieval garden, and treatments like the Garden Signature Massage and Turkish-style hammam. The property emphasizes sustainability: 80% of food comes from the estate, no single-use plastics, and a timber management program. Co-owner Karen Roos, former Elle Decoration South Africa editor-in-chief, refreshed the interiors before the 2019 opening.
