The Milky Way: Vera Fundraising Exhibition at Galleria Alessandra Bonomo in Rome
The sixth edition of The Milky Way: Vera will take place at Galleria Alessandra Bonomo in Rome from May 19 to May 21, 2022. Curated by Damiana Leoni, this event draws inspiration from her book, Vera, published by Quodlibet, which showcases new independent art spaces in Rome. Throughout the pandemic, venues like Ombrelloni, Post ex, and others flourished in areas such as Tor Bella Monaca and San Lorenzo. Funds raised will support Pianoterra Onlus, a nonprofit founded in 2008 by Ciro Nesci, Alessia Bulgari, and Flaminia Trapani, which aids at-risk families and new mothers. Visitors can buy art or donate to Pianoterra. This year’s focus on urban renewal highlights a reciprocal relationship between life and art.
