exhibition · 2026-05-04

The Milky Way Foto, a three-day photography exhibition and fundraiser curated by Damiana Leoni, returns for its fourth edition from May 24 to 26, 2018, at Galleria Lia Rumma in Naples. The event supports Pianoterra Onlus, an organization aiding vulnerable families, particularly pregnant women and new mothers, in Rome and Naples. Founded in 2014 in Naples, the initiative has since traveled to Rome and Milan before returning to Naples for its tenth anniversary. This year's edition features 57 donated photographs by artists including Marina Abramović, Tommaso Borgstrom, Broomberg & Chanarin, Mohamed Keita, Luigi Leoni, Juno Calypso, and Paolo Canevari. The works span generations and genres, from fine art photography to reportage. Proceeds from sales directly fund Pianoterra's activities.
