The Milky Way charity art show arrives in Turin with 40 artists
The fifth edition of The Milky Way, a charity art exhibition curated by Damiana Leoni, will take place in Turin for the first time at Galleria Franco Noero in Piazza Carignano 2. The event runs February 6-7, 2020, with a press preview on February 5. Proceeds support Pianoterra Onlus, an organization aiding vulnerable families in Naples and Rome, focusing on pregnant women and new mothers. The theme is Interno/Inner, reflecting the gallery's interior courtyard and Pianoterra's approach of addressing external conditions through inner states. Over 200 artists have participated across five editions since 2014, raising funds for Pianoterra's 1000 Giorni program, which has helped nearly 4,000 adults and children. Previous editions were held at Studio SALES in Rome (2015), Giò Marconi in Milan (2016), and Lia Rumma in Naples (2018).
