The Lost Shtetl Jewish Museum Opens in Lithuania

The Lost Shtetl Jewish Museum, designed by Lahdelma & Mahlamäki Architects, has been completed in Lithuania. The 4,900 m² museum, finished in 2025, was curated by Hadir Al Koshta, with lead architect Rainer Mahlamäki and project architect Ilkka Syrjäkari. Landscape design and construction were handled by Enea Landscape Architecture, while exhibition design was by Ralph Appelbaum Associates. The executive architect was Studija 2A. The museum commemorates the lost Jewish shtetl communities of Lithuania.
