The Line of Sight: Group Show at Galleria Rita Urso in Milan

To celebrate its twentieth anniversary, Galleria Rita Urso in Milan presents "The Line of Sight," a group exhibition featuring works previously shown by the gallery, now united by the theme of the gaze. The show includes eight artists whose works explore how protagonists communicate through their eyes. Thordis Adalsteinsdottir's "Gauguin" (2020) depicts wide, frightened eyes, while Adrian Paci's "Icons" series (2001) shows absent eyes hidden behind the mask of a "happy family." The exhibition also involves the viewer's participation in a reciprocal exchange of gazes, as seen in Giada Giulia Pucci's documentary performance and the film duo ZAPRUDER's "Ritratto di dama B e G" (2017). On the central wall, the strabismus of two sisters captures attention, prompting reflection on enigmas and interpretations. The exhibition runs at Galleria Rita Urso in Milan.
