The Lab Saigon Creates Branding for Yangon's Doe Khit Gallery

architecture-design · 2026-05-05

The Lab Saigon has developed a branding and visual identity for Doe Khit Gallery, a mixed-concept space in Yangon's historic Secretariat building. The name 'Doe Khit' translates to 'Our Time' in Burmese. The dynamic wordmark draws inspiration from the Secretariat's iconic shape and the gallery's interior. Modular designs are based on Burma's traditional rattan balls, symbolizing the weaving of history, culture, and the future. The project is part of the Secretariat's historic revival. The creative team includes Creative Director Tuan Le, Guest Creative Director Felix Ng (Anonymous Singapore), Interior Designers Daniel Arce, Tram Dang, Thu Le, and Chloe Dinh, Graphic Designers Andree Nguyen and Ngoc Pham, Production Director Nhung Ho, Account Director Phuong Anh Nguyen, Creative Strategist Ly Tong, Account Manager Huyen Vo, and Account Executive Khoa Do.
