The Globe Performing Space opens in Valsamoggia near Bologna

The 14th edition of the PerformAzioni International Performing Arts Festival, overseen by Anna Dora Dorno and hosted by Associazione Panicarte, is scheduled from August 23 to September 12, 2025, in the Apennines close to Bologna. Endorsed by the Italian Ministry of Culture, the festival will introduce The Globe – Performing Space, an eco-digital venue debuting on August 30. The inaugural evening features Marco Martinelli's Farsi Luogo, The Art of Freedom, and a concert by Marco Dalpane. Historic locations will host events, including Follow the Angel on August 23 and LUCE on August 31. The festival will showcase performances from Chile and Brazil, along with children's activities and workshops, wrapping up with Las Muchas, Utopie Migranti, LUCE, and Memory by Nigar Hasib from September 9–12.
