The Cure's New Music Video Features 1975 Sculpture by Janez Pirnat
After sixteen years, The Cure release their fourteenth studio album Songs Of a Lost World on November 1 via Universal. The lead single "Alone" is a seven-minute introspective ballad inspired by Ernest Dowson's poem "Dregs." The music video features Bagatelle, a 1975 stone sculpture by Slovenian artist Janez Pirnat (1932-2021), which also appears on the album cover designed by longtime graphic designer Andy Vella.
