The Boys and Kifer present 'Each Other Again' in Turin

The collective The Boys and Kifer, founded in 2014 by artist Roberto Casti and anthropologist Marco Rossi, uses sound as a relational tool to build non-hierarchical forms of sociality across museums, independent spaces, bars, and academies. They were invited by Collettivo Crampo (Alessandra Faccini, Giulia Ninotta, Marta Montoni, Rosita Ronzini, Camilla Zennaro) to participate in Spandex – Stretching the School, an educational program linking contemporary art and schools. From this collaboration emerged 'Each Other Again', a project developed from October 2025 to January 2026 with classes 5B, 5E, and 4E of the Primo Liceo Artistico di Torino. The project culminates in a public event on January 9, 2026, at 7 PM at Cripta747 (Via Giovanni Giolitti 32/c), titled 'Each Other Again | Open School', free admission. During the workshop, students and artists formed a temporary band based on trust, self-organization, and mutual listening, treating improvisation as a method and sound as a relational space. The band functioned as a research device rather than a final goal. The event is part of Spandex, conceived by Collettivo Crampo and Irene Coscarella, which involves secondary school students in Turin and is guided by the question 'What worlds await us?', inspired by new materialisms and Donna Haraway.
