The Armory Show Modern 2010: Dealers Showcase Rare Works and Market Insights at New York Fair

In its second year, The Armory Show Modern at Pier 92 presented a wide array of exhibits. Washburn featured exceptional pieces from New York School artists, including a 1960 work by Ray Parker and a 1957 piece by Nicolas Carone, alongside a 2006 sculpture by Gwynn Murrill. Nearby, works by Botero and Francis were displayed next to a spin painting by Damien Hirst. Galerie Forsblom exhibited Julian Schnabel's 2007 self-portrait, and Borghi highlighted Elaine de Kooning's ink nudes, with Parsons emphasizing her impact. Gary Snyder/Project Space Gallery offered a blend of pop and abstraction in its curatorial approach.
