The Armory Show 2024 Returns with American Express as Lead Partner

The Armory Show, now part of the Frieze network, will celebrate its 30th anniversary edition at the Javits Center in New York from September 6–8, 2024, with a VIP Preview on September 5. American Express joins as lead partner, supporting production, programming, and events. Over 235 galleries from more than 30 countries will participate, including 145 returning exhibitors such as 303 Gallery, Galeria Raquel Arnaud, Dastan Gallery, Kasmin, Sean Kelly, Victoria Miro, Almine Rech, Silverlens, Jessica Silverman, and Vielmetter Los Angeles. More than 25 galleries return after a hiatus, including BANK, Marianne Boesky Gallery, Jeffrey Deitch, Rodolphe Janssen, Kapp Kapp, Pippy Houldsworth Gallery, Proyectos Monclova, Cristin Tierney, and Sperone Westwater. Over 55 exhibitors join for the first time, including Corbett vs. Dempsey, Commonwealth and Council, GALLERY BATON, LABOR, Mingoni, Hannah Traore Gallery, Experimenter, and Wilding Cran. The fair features sections: Galleries, Solo, Presents, Focus (curated by Robyn Farrell of The Kitchen), Platform (curated by Eugenie Tsai), and Not-For-Profit. Blade Study (New York) receives The Gramercy International Prize, awarded to a New York-based gallery never before in the fair. Creative Time is honored with Armory Spotlight. Kristell Chadé, Executive Director of Fairs at Frieze, and Christine Messineo, Director of Americas, expressed enthusiasm. Bess Spaeth of American Express highlighted the partnership.
