The Address Gallery Opens Two Pop-Up Shows in Milan

exhibition · 2026-04-26

The Address Gallery from Brescia, directed by Riccardo Angossini, is launching two pop-up exhibitions in Milan. The first, La Morsure, is a solo show by Nygel Panasco (Douala, 1995), a French illustrator, comic artist, musician, and performer who has worked with WIP Carhartt, Censored, La Déferlante, PLS, and Le Palais de Tokyo. The exhibition runs until November 2, 2024, at Via San Vincenzo 6/A, in collaboration with Studio Mist-o. Panasco's recent works explore a post-apocalyptic soft sci-fi universe influenced by revised Christian imagery, focusing on Black characters and resistance against colonial reality. The second show, Un Regard Qui Laisse Filtrer Le Hazard, features Marion Baruch (Timisoara, 1929) from September 18 to 21, 2024, at Quattro (Via Antonio Porpora 150) during Milan Fashion Week, with a sound performance by Francesca Heart. Baruch's series, begun in 2012, uses textile scraps from fashion ateliers to evoke images, faces, and past memories. Baruch has been exhibited at the Center for Contemporary Art Tel Aviv-Yafo, National Museum of Contemporary Art Bucharest, and Centre Pompidou Paris, with works in collections including Kunstmuseum Luzern, Mamco Geneva, Art Collection Roche Basel, Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, and Triennale Milano. Angossini emphasizes the importance of intergenerational research in the gallery's program.
