TGL100: Mexico Celebrates Teodoro González de León's Centennial

The initiative TGL100: Cien años de legado urbano will celebrate the contributions of Teodoro González de León from May to October 2026, with its launch taking place at the Museo Universitario Arte Contemporáneo (MUAC). The press event included notable architects such as Ernesto Betancourt, Jorge Gamboa de Buen, Felipe Leal, Karina Liceaga, and filmmaker Emilio Maillé. An alumnus of UNAM's Escuela Nacional de Arquitectura, González de León collaborated with Le Corbusier and is known for iconic structures like MUAC, El Colegio de México, and Torre Manacar. The program features complimentary architectural tours, a tribute at El Colegio Nacional on May 25, screenings of Teodoro en Concreto, exhibitions at UNAM and MUAC, and a concert by Ensamble Cepromusic INBAL, highlighting the cultural significance of architecture.
