TESTO 2025: Florence Book Fair Returns with 174 Publishers, 210 Guests

The upcoming fourth edition of TESTO, an international book fair in Florence, is set to take place from February 28 to March 2, 2025, at Stazione Leopolda. Organized by Pitti Immagine and Todo Modo bookstore, the event will showcase over 174 publishers and host more than 210 guests participating in over 200 events across seven thematic stations. A prologue on February 27 at Teatro del Maggio Fiorentino will feature historian Alessandro Barbero discussing his 2024 novel "Romanzo russo" (Sellerio). The fair's manifesto, titled "Stare," invites contemplation on contemporary issues. Key attendees include Mokhtar Amoudi, Max Porter, Paul Murray, and Tracy Chevalier, with discussions on freedom of expression featuring Burhan Sönmez, Katerina Gordeeva, and Mazen Maarouf. Testofficina will conduct workshops on book production, while the fair commemorates the centenary of F. Scott Fitzgerald's "The Great Gatsby" and the 250th anniversary of Jane Austen.
