Territory-Park: Rebuilding Córrego do Feijão After Dam Collapse

The Território-Parque (Park-Territory) project, designed by MACh Arquitetos and Connatural, addresses the urban, architectural, and landscape reconstruction for the community of Córrego do Feijão, Brazil, following the devastating dam collapse in January 2019. Completed in 2019, the project aims to reconnect the affected population with their place of origin and history. The lead architects are Fernando Maculan and Mariza Machado Coelho from MACh, and Edgar Mazo and Sebastian Mejía from Connatural y Paisaje. The project falls under the categories of Public Space, Mixed Use Architecture, and Sustainability.
